Artist residencies will figure significantly in ICCM’s future, giving artists a unique opportunity to work directly with the resident orchestra, offer workshops, lead public discussions and participate as a featured artist in multiple performances.

While several other ICCM programmes include brief artistic residencies (such as Meet the Composer programme or performance-related visits), Artist Residencies programme as such refers to an engagement with the Centre over a longer period of time. Normally, such residencies include a number of related activities giving the artist and the community the opportunity to get to know the artist’s work more intimately and on several levels.

This program will go into effect in 2024/25 concert season.
